 +======자궁내막 (Endometrium)======

 +자궁내막은 임신과 월경을 담당하는 기관으로 월경주기에 따라 변화한다. 
 + 
 +최대의 두께는 보통 5~7 mm 정도이다.
 +
 +자궁내막의 주기는 크게 배란 전후로 나누어 증식기(proliferative phase)와 분비기(secretory phase)로 대별하기도 하고, 다시 세분하여 다음과 같이 5 분기로 나누기도 한다

 +자궁내막은 일반적으로 [[med:ovulation|배란시기]]가 되면 “나뭇잎 모양 패턴”이라 불리는 특정적인 초음파 영상을 보여준다. 이 시기에 나뭇잎 모양 패턴이 보이지 않고, 두께가 8mm 미만인 경우는, 착상이 어렵다.
