======사람융모막홀몬 (human chorionic gonadotropin; hCG)======

태반(placenta)에서 분비되는 홀몬으로 임신 극초반에는 Cytotrophoblast에서도 분비되지만, 그 이후는 syncytiotrophoblast에서 분비된다.

=====농도=====
 
  * ** 5mIU/ml**이하는 비임신.
  * **25mIU/ml**이상은 임신. 
  * 5~25는 잘모름.

임신소변검사기 에서는 
  * 보통 25~50 정도에서 두줄로 나온다.
  * 신속(얼리체크) 에서는 10 정도부터도 두줄로 나온다.

* At 14 DPO, the average HCG level is 48 mIU/ml, 17-119 mIU/ml. 
  * At 15 DPO, the average HCG level is 59 mIU/ml, 17-147 mIU/ml. 
  * At 16 DPO, the average HCG level is 95 mIU/ml, 33-223 mIU/ml. 
  * At 17 DPO, the average HCG level is 132 mIU/ml,  17-429 mIU/ml. 
  * At 18 DPO, the average HCG level is 292 mIU/ml, 70-758 mIU/ml. 
  * At 19 DPO, the average HCG level is 303 mIU/ml, 111-514 mIU/ml. 
  * At 20 DPO, the average HCG level is 522 mIU/ml, 135-1690 mIU/ml. 
  * At 21 DPO, the average HCG level is 1061 mIU/ml,  324-4130 mIU/ml. 
  * At 22 DPO, the average HCG level is 1287 mIU/ml,  185-3279 mIU/ml. 
  * At 23 DPO, the average HCG level is 2034 mIU/ml,  506-4660 mIU/ml. 
  * At 24 DPO, the average HCG level is 2637 mIU/ml, 540-10,000 mIU/ml.

DPO : Days past ovulation 배란 후 날수

* 0-1 week: 0-50 mIU/ml 
  * 1-2 weeks: 40-300 mIU/ml 
  * 3-4 weeks: 500-6,000 mIU/ml 
  * 1-2 months:5,000-200,000 mIU/ml 
  * 2-3 months:10,000-100,000 mIU/ml 
  * 2nd trimester: 3,000-50,000 mIU/ml 
  * 3rd trimester: 1,000-50,000 mIU/ml

* Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml 
  * Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml

  * 10주에 최고치, 20주가 되면 바닥으로 떨어진다. (( The level will reach its peak in the first **8 - 11** weeks of pregnancy and then will decline))
  * 정상적인 임신이라면 hCG ** 1,000 – 2,000 mIU/mL** 에서 자궁내에 [[med:fetal_biometry#gestational sac|임신낭(G-sac)]]이 보인다.

[[med:h_mole|]] 환자가 이후에 다시 [[med:h_mole|]]될 확률은 1.8%에 불과히다.

* For HCG levels <1200 mIU/ml, the expected doubling time is 48-72 hours. 
  * For HCG levels 1200 to 6000 mIU/ml, the expected doubling time is 72-96 hours. 
  * For HCG levels >6000 mIU/ml, the expected doubling time is >96 hours.

낙태 후 임신홀몬검사는 최소 2~3주 후에 시행해야 정확히 판정할 수 있다.
