The Apotheosis is a free shuttle given to all players after the downtime on Tue 6th May 2008, marking the 5th anniversary of EVE-Online. It is delivered to the station where your clone resides.

As far as is known, the Apotheosis is a "limited-edition" ship, in that it doesn't get replaced if destroyed, and there are no blueprints for manufacturing more of them. Setting it apart from other shuttles, its sensor strengths are higher across the board.
