윈도에 아이클라우드 드라이브를 설치하면 ‘iCloud Drive’란 폴더가 파일탐색기에 나타난다. 이를 클릭해 들어가면 키노트, 넘버스, 페이지스 등 애플 아이웍스 애플리케이션별 폴더가 있다. 기타 문서나 파일을 곧바로 아이클라우드 드라이브 공간에 저장하는 것도 가능하다. 이렇게 저장된 파일은 다른 아이클라우드 드라이브 설치 기기에서 접근할 수 있다.

원래 아이클라우드는 윈도7 이상에서만 설치할 수 있다. 다음의 방법으로 XP에서도 설치가 가능하다

1. 아이튠즈 (iTunes) 5.10
2. Unpacking program e.g. 7-Zip or WinRar
3. Orca MSI editor

1. Download iCloud Control Panel for Windows.
2. Open iCloudSetup.exe file with WinRar or 7-Zip and extract.
3. Navigate to and open the iCloud.msi or iCloud64.msi (for 64bit systems) with Orca MSI editor.
4. In the left table select LaunchCondition. Then change in the right table “VersionNT> = 600” to “VersionNT> = 200” and Save.
5. Run modified iCloud.msi and install.
6. Run iCloud Control Panel, located in the Windows Control Panel, and set up as you want.
