====== 응급피임법 (Emergency Contraception)======

[[섹스]] 후 임신을 방지할 목적으로 사용되는 방법. 피임.
크게 고용량 홀몬제를 복용하는 방법과 [[med:iud]]를 삽입하는 방법이 있다.

====약====
과거 [[유즈페 법]]이 사용되었으나, [[morning_after pill|노레보]]와 같은 LNG계열 약제로 대체 되었고, 항프로게스틴 제제인 [[med:ellaone]]도 사용되고 있다.

[[유즈페 법]]은 LNG 복용과 피임 성공률을 비교하였을 때, 85% 대 57%로 더 나쁘고, 오심, 구토, 현기증, 피로감 등이 더 심하다. 출혈은 비슷하다.  (([[http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2328423/pdf/canfamphys00037-0091.pdf|Levonorgestrel versus the 'Yuzpe" regimen]]
 Levonorgestrel alone prevented
85% of expected pregnancies; the
Yuzpe method prevented 57% of
expected pregnancies. This gave
a calculated pregnancy rate of
1.1% for the levonorgestrel group
and 3.2% for the Yuzpe group.

Efficacy of both regimens was
increased if treatment was provided
within 24 hours. Efficacy
decreased as time of treatment
approached 72 hours. Therefore,
the sooner emergency contraception
is given the better.

Women in the levonorgestrel
group reported less nausea, vomiting,
dizziness, and fatigue and
were less likely to need a third
dose of medication.

Bleeding patterns were similar in
the two groups

[[med:iud|구리로 된 루프(Cooper IUD)]]를 성교 후** 5일** 이내에 삽입하는 방법으로 먹는 약보다 신뢰도가 더 높다. 이후 계속 자궁내에 두어 지속적인 피임효과를 얻을 수 있다. 홀몬루프 ([[med:mirena|미레나]], 제이디스) 등은 응급피임에 적합하지 않다.

* 착상 방해
  * 5일 이내 (적어도 7일이내) 사용권장
  * 거의 100% 효과
  * [[med:mirena|미레나]]는 안됨.
